Thank you so much for doing that session, I’m literally sat here in tears right now having had the loveliest responses from some of the team (unprompted) on how they feel well supported, committed and a valued part of a team and I owe a lot of that to the training I did with you as it totally turned my thinking around on my own approach to work (and life!) and what good management looks like.

The course has saved me time and made my world a happier place. Existing managers within the team who had previously been unhappy and at time uncooperative have shown a change in pace and the ability and confidence to take initiative and make decisions effectively. This has resulted in my department delivering better solutions, quicker and contributing much more to the business than ever before. Where we had perhaps previously been seen as a necessary evil we are now seen as a good team to be part of and a professional and respected group whose input and opinion is regularly sought after.

Over the years I have had bits and pieces of training or guidance and even been told that “you are a manager now so why would we give you training!” But this training has opened my eyes to so many new ideas, techniques, and strategies.

Nicki has been an exceptional trainer and I always feel like the session is too short and there is so much more to discuss. I really can’t thank Nicki enough for this training and I hope others find it as (I hope this doesn’t sound too OTT, but…) life changing. Yes, for me but more importantly for those who work in my team and other departments.

“I found the course very enlightening and worthwhile, it was great to be exposed to the content and techniques – some of which were new to me or that I hadn’t been exposed. However, I spent both days and a good degree of time since reflecting on my own personal management style and certain situations that I could relate to the examples and techniques we talked about during the course. I have been thinking about the things I think I have done well but also what I could have done differently in each scenario which may have generated a better result for myself and others involved.

In many ways, I would think my own self-evaluation would see me answer some of the survey questions differently – mainly process skills – I certainly think I have more development area’s now than when I started pre course!

The course overall has helped to shape my thinking and will impact some work I am doing this coming Winter with my team – I said at the end of the course I would completely rethink my approach to how we take these tasks forward – this is very much the case.
